Dopamine Boosting Foods

How you feel matters.

Your mood (a temporary state of mind or feeling) often determines the decisions you make.

The decisions you make affect your mood & well-being.

You can see it’s a bit of a cause-and-effect repetitive cycle.

How you feel affects your level of motivation, energy & overall life satisfaction.

So how do you optimize how you feel, so you can be motivated, energetic & positive?

Focus on optimized

NUTRITION.

EXERCISE.

SLEEP.

SUNSHINE.

CONNECTION.

Unfortunately, you can’t FORCE feeling good, motivated and energetic.

In my experience, it is best to optimize what is within your control and allow your mood to be positively affected.

NUTRITION

This week let’s discuss nutrition.

I find that it is often easiest to start with ONE SMALL CHANGE, such as what you eat for breakfast.

Let’s talk specifically about nutrition in terms of dopamine.

Dopamine

Dopamine is a neurotransmitter that’s responsible for transmitting signals between nerve cells in the brain. This chemical directly affects the reward and pleasure centers of the brain, which affects mood.

While high dopamine levels can boost one’s mood, low dopamine levels can lead to depressive symptoms. Dopamine also plays an active role in drug abuse and addiction.  Let’s discuss natural ways to boost dopamine.

PRO TIP:

Eat a protein-packed brekky: eating a high-protein breakfast including eggs, greens & organic/grass-fed meats to reduce cravings while maintaining energy & increasing dopamine levels.

Supplement that boosts dopamine naturally…

DopaBoost™ is designed to support the body’s natural production of dopamine, one of the body’s primary catecholamines. Dopamine is essential for the normal functioning of the central nervous system, and it is associated with attention, learning, movement, balance, and mood regulation.* The primary ingredient in DopaBoost™ is Mucuna pruriens, a botanical that naturally contains L-Dopa, the metabolic precursor to dopamine, which can cross the blood-brain barrier. Additional ingredients include epigallocatechin gallate (EGCg), acetyl-L-tyrosine, quercetin, and vitamin B6, all selected for their synergistic roles in the production and regulation of dopamine.

Client Experience

"Krystal has been a saving grace for my GI issues. I've been dealing with IBS D and other gut issues for years with trips in and out of the hospital that costs me time, multiple incorrect diagnoses, and money.

Krystal took the time to really listen to what my habits were as well as who I am as a person.  Once she put me on the correct path, my stomach has been feeling fabulous.  I've even been having unicorn poops, haha!"
