From our pastures to your table: we provide non-GMO poultry, free-range eggs, organic veggies and educational classes on the sacred skills of sustainable living.
At Farming with Gratitude, we believe that true vitality isn't found in a single habit—it is found in the harmony between your body, your family, and the land you live upon. Our mission is to bridge the gap between ancestral wisdom and modern wellness, teaching our community how to cultivate a life that is deeply nourished, sustainable, and vibrant.
We don’t just provide food; we provide a blueprint for a life of longevity. By understanding the sacred interconnectedness of how we garden, how we care for our animals, and how we prepare our meals, we reclaim our health and our heritage.
Our chickens live their best lives in the sunshine while rotational grazing, resulting in superior quality meat for you and your family.
We cultivate nutrient-dense produce using regenerative methods that honor the earth and your health.
There is an unmistakable difference in a truly fresh egg. Our hens live a life of freedom, spending their days foraging across our property, scratching through the soil, and enjoying a diet of insects, fresh greens, and non-GMO supplemental feed.
We raise Katahdin sheep, a hardy hair-breed known for their premium, mild-flavored meat. Unlike commercial alternatives, our sheep spend their days exactly as nature intended: roaming our pastures, grazing on diverse forage, and soaking up the sun.
From Service to Soil
For over a decade, our lives were defined by the rhythm of military service. With Jason’s career in the Navy, our family moved every 2–3 years, constantly adapting to new places but always longing for a place to call home. When we finally landed in Columbia, CT, we didn’t just find a property; we found our sanctuary.
In 2022, we looked at a property that had been untouched for seven years. Where others saw overgrown brush and decay, we saw a future. What started as "Year Zero"—armed with little more than a dream, a Gator, and a deep sense of gratitude—has grown into a working farm dedicated to healing the land and our community.
We believe that health isn't just about what's on your plate; it’s about how you live and where your food begins. By combining Krystal’s expertise as a Nutrition Consultant with Jason's top notch risk management and executive planning skills, we’ve created a bridge between the soil and the soul.
We aren't just selling food; we are sharing a way of life.

Sourdough is more than just bread—it is a living tradition. In our hands-on workshops, I teach you how to master the ancient art of wild yeast fermentation. We move beyond "convenience food" to create a staple that is as nourishing as it is delicious.
Canning is the bridge between the summer garden and the winter table. I teach you how to capture peak-season nutrients so your family can enjoy the vitality of the harvest all year long. We reclaim the "lost art" of the pantry, moving away from store-bought preservatives and back to the purity of home-grown food.
True health is not a destination; it is an ecosystem. Our wellness bundle is an immersive experience designed for those who want to align their internal biology (Health Coaching or DNA Rx) with their external environment (food preparation & farming practices). This is where personalized, data-driven nutrition meets the practical wisdom of sustainable living.
In our fast-paced world, we often lose our connection to the very thing that sustains us: the Earth. Our Guided Farm Tours are designed to help you and your family bridge that gap. This isn't just a walk through a field; it’s an invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and "harmonize the flow" of your day through direct connection with the land and its creatures.
